Somatic Healing is a holistic and spiritual approach which aims to resolve deep trauma so that we can form better relationships with ourselves and with others. In its’ purest sense, it is a body-centered approach (often connecting with the inner child) used to realign the soul and become whole.
It involves:
Releasing stress and trauma stored in the body
Breathwork, self talk and meditation exercises
Exploring the mind and body’s deepest (and most painful) memories
Connecting with the inner child
It aims to:
Reduce stress and anxiety
Alleviate Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
Alleviate deep grief
Work on trust and intimacy issues
Improve self esteem, self-compassion and ultimately, self-love
